As a newbie to blogging, it’s been quite a learning curve trying to figure out the technical, marketing and social aspects of the business. Learning to blog is really simply a matter of learning how to say more in  less words and this is why Twitter is such a terrific training tool! As any good  blogger will tell you, composing content for your blog should be done in the  most concise manner! If visitors are not both engaged and able to get the full  gist of any new updates quickly, they tend to leave the site! This is why  Twitter is the ideal training ground for bloggers since when you post a tweet  you are only allowed the use of 140 characters!

I was recently asked the other day what was the most important point in  writing a blog post.

Was it keywords? Or was there ‘more to it’ than just keywords? My answer was  both however, whilst keywords do play an important role, the most important  factor of all is to write for your readers.

Creating a title for any new blog entries is something that must NOT be  overlooked if you intend to capture the attention of readers! The reality is  that most bloggers tend to place little emphasis on this aspect due primarily to  the fact that to simply develop content for their blogs can take so much time!  By the time it comes to creating the all important title many, myself included,  often rush through this process feeling the content itself is all that’s  important! WRONG!
