Adding an image to your sidebar in blogger is really easy.
There are two ways you can add an image to your sidebar in Blogger. You can use an Html Javascript widget or the picture widget.
Html Javascript Widget
- Upload your image to a dummy post in Blogger.
- Then switch the post editor into “Edit HTML mode.”
- You’ll see the photo’s URL inside an <img> tag.
- Simply copy that URL into the “File Url to Image” part of the below code.

- Click on layout
- Add a gadget
- Choose HTML/JavaScript widget and paste in the above code.
- Save your changes
If adding multiple photos to your sidebar separate each photo with two <br />.
Picture Widget
With the Picture Widget you can add a title and caption to your picture and shrink the picture to fit into your blog perfectly.
- Click on Dashboard
- Layout
- Add a Gadget
- Choose Picture
- Click on the plus sign
- Upload the image filling out all the details
- Save your changes
