well I'm new to blogging but I want to give it a try. I have created a blog at blogger but I want to customize it. so here is were my questions begin. I read strobist.blogspot.com I want to know there sidebar how do I design one like that. Also it seems like there are different pages for some of his items like Lighting 101 of lighting 102 how do I make new pages for stuff.

He is using a drop down menu.

Do you want a drop down menu for your blogroll or just your archives?

If your blog is using Layouts, the archive feature is supported as an option by the archive page element. (Select the "dropdown menu" option.)
