Howdy fellow Bloggers! Please Help.
How do I get the Blog to appear on my website so that visitors comments are shown in chronological order? I have checked with my hosting server and they confirm that they support php, whatever that means!
Do I have to insert some HTML code into the appropriate page for it to render the Blog on that page? |

What I eally want is a simple format so I decided to use Google's eBlogger. WordPress is far too complicated for my needs.
I want the Blog comments to be seen by all visitors to my site. eBlogger seemed to fit the bill. |

There's no 'e' meant to be in front of Blogger's name. Do mean when someone views your comments, you want the oldest at the top? The way Blogger is set up, the oldest is at the top. I'm not sure if you can change that or not. You might give Haloscan a look. You have a bit more control there. _________________ Complex Femme

I've never seen Intense Debate before. It looks interesting. My #1 concern, though, is that I don't see that you can see a commenter's IP address. After the harrassing stalker I had, that is very important to me. _________________ Complex Femme

Well, I think I've set up everything correctly in Settings BUT there is still a problem with the way the Blog works.
This is the url for the site: www.ondemandpress.com. Anyone want to try to post a comment? If so, scroll down the Home page and you will see the Blog.
When a user clicks on "send your comments" an email opens up but the address is show as mail@yourwebsite .com. Now as far as I can tell there is no such mailbox on my site.
What do I need to do so that:
1. Users comments show up on my web page.
2. When a comment is posted, an email notification is sent to me.
Please note in Settings I have asked enabled both these options but I can't see any comments appearing on the site.
What do I need to do to fix this problem.
Thanks. |

Old Dude:
You and I have something in common. I too have reached three score, but still have a couple of years to catch up with you!
Thanks for the lead to Wayne. I have sent him an email. Hope he can resolve my problem.
Thanks for your help. |

Okay the bit for the comments that is a mailto command in HTML needs to change, but you are using an independent platform for your site. It doesn't even look like a blog, but a commercial website. I've looked through your sourcecode and couldn't find where that's listed. When you click on that comments link it should be directed to email to you, but instead it's directed to a generic email that doesn't exist.

Wayne, is new to Blogger and everything he learned is through learning as he goes.
cricketer1 you need to use a platform for your blog. What platform is it that you're using? Why don't you use Wordpress? I have been to your website and I don't see any blog, what I see is box that reads our blog- with a mailto link to send comments.
What you should do is install Wordpress as a subdomain and then in your navigation menu put a link to your blog so the address to your blog would be something like
ondemandpress.com/blog _________________ Help Support Blogger Talk Blogging Community|
