What is the reason that you blog? What are you looking to accomplish with your blog if anything?

A couple reasons: one, I needed a reason to write every day. I'm not a great writer and have always been terrible at keeping a diary. Publishing what is essentially my diary forces me to keep it up.

Plus I just wanted to play around with html and blogging seemed to be the easiest way into that.

I write as a way to express my ambition and to teach others.

My blog is about my goal to be a full time blogger in the timespan of only a year. Along the way I teach others the avenues that I am taking in order to create a roadmap for blog success.

I started out to just draw traffic to my website, but now I'm more interested in drawing traffic to my blog. I wrote in journals a while on private message boards. I love to write about my daily experiences.

I blog to debate issues with people. I have found writing my blog really makes me think out my position more than simply talking about issues around the water cooler.

I love to write and I always have. This is such a great way to express myself and have a large audience. I also started blogging as I lost a good friend a few weeks ago and writing helped me get through that. So, I guess something good came out of something bad.

The original reason for my blog, which I started in February, was to draw traffic to the main site (business to business service) and increase the overall s/engine ranking for keywords for the site.

However, I am finding that I'm actually enjoying the experience of blogging as well.

My primary reason is to know how to drive traffic into one site., because I would like to start a big time site maybe after 4 years after I finish my degree course.,

So it's like I'm training to blog and learning the ways in the web in 4 years.,

Blogging was presented to me as a means of hosting ads and creating revenue, so that was actually what drew me into this....but not much is happening in that area. What keeps me at it, is that I was working on a novel and it is taking me forever to gain momentum there....w/blogging, I can express some of those ideas that are important to me, NOW....

Also, hoping that something I have to say may reach someone who needs to know it.

I simply started blogging because of money icon_biggrin.gif but after 2 weeks,I realized that it is not what I actually want..I started with a blog about making money,I'm still at it,but actually more on reminding people not to fall into traps that promises easy money!I started another blog last week because I feel it is better to have different blogs on different topic. The new blog is about my view on blogging generally, and sharing tips I found while browsing other blogs or in feeds I receive in my reader.I just love blogging now and will keep it up for as long as I possibly can..giving values and helping others brings much greater reward and satisfaction then money could give, and I believe the monetary reward will come by itself as a result of being honest and kind to others.

I am not sure why I blog. It seemed to be what everyone is doing nowadays and if you have a website, you also need a blog?

Now that I have started my blog, I am finding it strangely addictive and I have to control the impulse to tell my deepest, darkest secrets! icon_eek.gif

Sometimes, I am not even sure what to say but when I find something that I am very passionate about, like conservation, animals and wildlife I feel obsessed to tell the world.

I really need to find a balance because blogging and reading blogs is keeping me away from my work icon_biggrin.gif

Is there a blog for people who need help because blogging is addictive? icon_biggrin.gif
