Thanks Rose,
I think the key to get up in the ranking is unique content.One should write only if he knows well about that.Copy from others don't help much to get up.
The second point is to make sure for which keywords one wish to appear in search results are in content.
To get up in ranking for popular keywords quality and relevance back links are the key.These back links should be one way.Link directory and article directory are the best places to get one way back link.
And another important thing to help the search engine crawler to crawl the pages.Google webmaster tools is perfect for this job.
Rose,as you are top in couple of keywords your tips will help me and others to optimize a site more.I request you tho share your knowledge.
