There are some things about Blogspot that first impressed me, but I had never compared it with the capabilities of Wordpress. I was ready to give it up all together after two weeks of pulling my hair out with Google help groups and blogspot's disappearing domains and widgets. Constant problems. And, I discovered I was not alone after spending all of my writing time in the help groups looking for answers, which I seldom ever got. Wordpress is obviously a lot more advanced and has limitless capabilities, but granted has a bit of a steeper learning curve. Haven't tried the free Wordpress.com, I used the Wordpress.org free instgallation kit. Anyway, I'm now a happy camper thanks to WordPress.org.

Tim, I'm glad to hear that you are satisfied with Wordpress. I use Wordpress myself, but as you know I too support blogger.  |

There are a few I gave up on. Between rude moderators and crazy members talking out of their butts.  Personally I like this place a lot. Definitely in my top 3 favorite places, even though I'm still a newbie here.

I understand, I've read on different forums that some of the users (blogger) are now complaining for such reasons that their blogs were disappeared without any warnings. I hope Blogger can solve this issue.
Am planning to switch to wordpress as well. |

I too was just switched to Wordpress and never been happier. Although I still support Blogger since it was my first love. LOL ! |
