Bailees Views has almost blown off the page. In 3 weeks she's had over 1500 visitors.
How do I motivate at least some of them to stop and leave a comment? Even a "like your blog" or "hate your blog" would be welcome.
Please, please help me before Bailee bites me again! She's really upset guys and girls.  |

You could write a post asking people to delurk themselves.
Another way to get comments on a post is to ask a question.
Install the top commenter plugin.

Rose is right. Building a community of responsive readers takes time, don't be discouraged with the visitors:commenters ratio. Continue to work on your networking through blog visits and conversations on various social networks.  Return the visits to the commenters who are responsive to your posts might be a good way to start.

Thanks to both of you. I joined a group called catblogoshere. I get any where from 6-10 COMMENTS EVERY DAY NOW.
Between visiting their sites and saying thank you on "Bailees. I'm pooped!  It's that wonderful?  |
