| You can get decent traffic from them but 99% of the traffic don't even read the blogs. They are just doing it for the traffic. However, when surfing for credits, you do get to see a nice variety of blogs you might not have seen otherwise. |

| I used to participate in programs like that where you receive credits for surfing which then translated into blog views. At blog mad I got an incredible amount of traffic, but it was useless. They spent their 15 seconds on my blog and then on to the next. I liked blog explosion because of different ways of viewing the blog (blog rockets, battle of the blog). I ended my membership in these programs when I found out that google adsense didn't like them, and I want to stay on googles good side. |

| The magic word with google adsense is incentive. when you surf on these sites you earn credits. Those credits translate into your site being seen. They consider this an incentive for people to view your site (ex. 1 view=1 credit) I got 1 warning letter and quickly canceled all my memberships from blogmad, blog explosion, and blogazoo ( I never really understood that one anyway, what the heck is a gazoo anyway?) I am still a member of link referral because there are no incentives, it is like a directory, but most of the sites are businesses. You can view 30 sites a day and by doing that you move up the list. I hope that nothing is wrong with me continuing on with that site. |
