You can try DMOZ.org too.
It's an open directory and submission is manually sorted by persons.
I'm still waiting to have my blogs listed there.

| Getting into DMOZ.org is not easy. Shawn can tell you all about it. Many people submit several times to the directory and still, their site does not get listed in DMOZ. |

| There are a lot of greats ones out there for women. Blogher and Blogs by Women come to mind. I get a fair amount of traffic from Blogher.

You can add them to your sidebar by logging into
your blog and clicking on settings and then Template. Then click on
"Add a Page Element." Choose HTML/JavaScript and paste the code in there. |
