I got this error message every time I submit comment in my WordPress 2.1 Please help me to fix this problem. Thank a lot.
The funny thing, if I refresh my browser, the comment is submitted and posted on the page.

When you edited the wp-config.php file did you do it in a Word Document editor?
The error is usally caused by a space or hidden character just before the <?php or any other line, always use a plain text editor or an ASCII editor to ensure there are no hidden characters...
Also try disabling the subscribe-to-comments.php from the plugins section to see if the error still occurs, to disable it go in to the WordPress Admin Panel and select plugins and then scroll down and deactivate it.
If the problem only occurs with the plugin enabled then post the content of the file here so I may take a look!
But like I said before its normally caused by space or hidden charcter in the wp-config.php file so inspect the file using notepad or an ASCII editor and remove and spaces ..
Put your cursor at the end of each line, hit the delete key until the bottom line moves to the same line ensuring there are no spaces or hidden characters!
Rose uses this plugin on her WordPress 2.1 and has no errors, so I still think it may be one of the files you edited using a Word editor instead of an ASCII or plaintext editor!

Now like I mentioned before, this is caused by hidden characters or whitespaces, its telling you what line is effecting it by reading the error output..
The error is coming from subscribe-to-comments.php on line 438, there is a whitespace or hidden character, be sure to inspect this file and make sure there or no hidden / whitespace characters..
Using Notepad, open the file and select edit and scroll down to Go To...enter the line number 438 and hit ok!
Now use your cursor at the end of a line or at the begining and hit your delete key to ensure you remove all whitespaces.

I added some widgets too: such as comment preview.
News flash: I make a photo blog!
The recipe is Wordpress + Gallery

I am glad I was able to help, after all thats why they pay me the big bucks,
I like the addon Gallery also, looks pretty cool I have intergrated Gallery2 into a few platforms and its an excellent piece of software..

Agreed Shawn. I was considering Coppermine, Zen Photo and 4images before finally choosing Gallery. I'm glad that I make the right decision
By the way, do you have suggestion what open source application that's good for submitting comment with ticket tracking? |
