Inspired by Dave Sifry’s State of the Blogosphere, this Technorati powered widget created by by Terry Ng at Kineda calculates your bloglebrity status based on four influential groupings. Enter your URL and you'll get a ranking of A-list, B-list, C-list, or D-list, along with an explanation of each group.
What does it take to be an A blogger?
500 or more blogs linking in the last 6 months.
B-List Bloggers- (100-499 blogs linking in the last 6 months)
C-List Bloggers- (10-99 blogs linking in the last 6 months)
D-List Bloggers- (3-9 blogs linking in the last 6 months)
What group are you in?
Well I'm in B-List Blogebrity it seems.

| I have always had a problem with this because, stats and incoming links really shouldn't matter. what matters is if you love what you are doing, and if you continue to improve. I don't think we need to focus on stats, focus on learning and improving and the stats will come with it. |

Shadeofgray, I posted this for entertainment purpose only. I don't expect anyone to take it seriously. If you ask me the blogosphere has become one huge popularity contest. I blog because I enjoy it. I interact with my readership and I have a few blogs that I visit on a regular bases. I’m not interested in having a huge list of commenters or having people link to my blog for the sake of linking and I don't care what rank I fall under. Those who fall under D are just as important as those that fall under A.

I agree with Rose.
My site list as a "D" league site, but I really don't care. It's entertaining. I blog because I enjoy talking about politics, and I enjoy interacting with people I would never get to meet in real life. |

| Rose, I completely understood that, I was just throwing in my two cents, That's why I post what I was. I am sorry for going off topic. I guess I just wanted to let the people who aren't "a-list" know it's ok, Because I used to focus so much on that stuff, and if a new blogger saw this they might get discouraged. |

I never really cared what list my blog was "ranked" on as most lists are meaningless.
Many great blogs have few links and are considered Z List as a result.
I am more interested in A List quality wonderful people than in the conventional, but flawed concept of A List blogs.

Oh sorry. Then I should have said: She sure knows how to play her own game..
I think that was a really smart move she made with the widget thing. If she just came up with the groupings she wouldn't have received as much traffic back. By having a way to work out where your blog fits she got everyone linking back, and most likely boosted herself above A-list
