My point is that term "secret lover" imnplies something elicit. Why would it be kept secret, for example?
The term lover, ahas also become derogatory over time, implying a relationship outside an already established one. Not that this is the case in your situation by any means. But implications provide strong signals because the terminology is rather well ingrained into our concepts of secrecy and love as a combined term. |
