Yahoo Photos will be shutting down on Sept 20. On Wednesday Yahoo released tools to let members move their pictures to alternative sites. For those of you using Yahoo Photos where are you moving to? Yahoo is of course encouraging members to move to Flickr but users can also move to Snapfish, Shutterfly, Photobucket and Kodak Gallery.
The site is misbehaving.
I attempted to delete the photos in my Yahoo Photos account and kept receiving this message.
"Yahoo! Photos is Closing
We're sorry. Yahoo! Photos is closing on September 20, 2007 so we are no longer accepting new accounts or allowing users to upload photos if you don't already have photos in your account. We've decided to focus all our efforts on Flickr - the award winning photo sharing community that Time Magazine has even called "completely addictive". Why not head over to Flickr for a look?" _________________ Help Support Blogger Talk Blogging Community|

Not surprising, as they own Flickr now.
I have a Yahoo photo account, but I haven't used it in about six months. For all I know, they closed it down due to inactivity. I have dupes on Flickr anyway.
I use Flickr, but for storing little things like badges, and an extra copy of my banner, I use Photobucket. _________________ done but with errors |
