| I really enjoy my readers' comments. What blog tools have you found successful for helping to engage your readers? I use the 'recent comments' widget and my blog is 'do follow'. I also, of course, acknowledge reader comments with at least an answer, if not a return visit. |

i also do the same or even i also comment on their blogs/site to show my appreciation to what they did

Thanks for the replies. I have also since posted a guest book on my blog, which I think is really neat, but there's not much interest in it yet. Only one reader has signed. On my guest book, I have text asking for suggestions on how to improve my blog along with any other comments, of course. If you're looking for a guest book that so far works as promised with moderate customization, there's a link to the developer on mine.
