Hi, folks. I joined BloggerTalk.net yesterday because I write seven blogs in all and four of them are at Blogger.com and, every now and then, I have some problems that I can't get answered by searching Blogger Help. That's the main reason.

While I was here I added the BloggerTalk banner link to my website (I'm an independent science fiction author) and the text link to two of my non-science fiction blogs.

But my link is still not showing here. Oh well, maybe after the holidays.

Anyway, I'm glad to be here and I'll be clicking on other members stuff more than anything else right now.

Thanks.

Thank you, Rose. And, please, don't hurry to ad my link. I am not an impatient man. Go home and eat some more turkey. That's what I'm doing. And thank you for welcoming me.

Turkey? I didn't cook a turkey today, however my husband cooked one in October when we celebrated Thanksgiving. Enjoy your turkey. icon_wink.gif

Wow. You simply can't be nice to some people. Now I don't feel welcome here at all. In fact, I'm on my way out of here ASAP. I didn't know this was a feminist website.

Rose, you can delete my account right now and all my links here bcause that's exactly what I'm doing with your links as soon as I log out for the last time. I didn't come here to be abused.

I will also not be recommending Blogger Talk to anyone.

And don't bother to email me because you and BloggerTalk are now persona non grata in my cyber life.

How was I rude? Woo- back up. You were not abused in any way and I'm far from a feminist. I'm Canadian and we celebrate ThanksGiving in October. That was what I meant by my reply and my husband use to be a kitchen manager before he became a programmer, so he does most of the cooking in our house. He did indeed cook our turkey.

In fact my son & my husband prepared Thankgiving dinner. I can cook, but I don't like to.

How is saying my husband cooked Thanksgiving in October rude?

I don't think I was rude at all. My apologies if I offended you, but I don't understand how? I approved your link yesterday just as I said I would.

I really think you are over reacting here, just a little.

What the??? That doesn't make any sense at all! I don't cook, never have, but I don't think my lack of culinary skills has ever scared away a blogger-that's a neat trick, Rose! Ok, I will admit that I do heat up some mean chicken nuggets in the microwave, but other than that...Wow, if someone got offended because you didn't cook a turkey, then I think he would get offended if you didn't wear clothes that covered your body head to toe, or brush your teeth the right way, or or or...That is silly. Silly boys. I wonder if that works on ex-husbands, I am going to try it! icon_smile.gif

Perhaps what we have here is a future blog post.

Not being able to cook a turkey went terribly wrong for one blogger when another blogger accused her of being a rude, not nice feminist all because she did not cook a turkey in October when she celebrated Thanksgiving with her family.

Cindy, I might scare him away more if I cooked a turkey. Then again if he stuck around, I could cook a turkey and him, my son and hubby could go outside and toss the bird around.

Of course the sound of the smoke alarm going off might result in the Firemen showing up at my house and if the fireman look any thing like the ones in the fireman calender then of course I will have to deal with my daughter's drooling.

What goes best with burnt turkey any way?

By the way- I have an excellent recipe for burnt turkey if you need it.

Oh and Happy Burnt Turkey Day Cindy.
