There use to be no way for a blogger using Google’s Blogger to block an individual from accessing their blog on Blogspot. The only bonus was that they could moderate comments putting some control into their hands.

Thanks to ip.toolshell.com bloggers using Blogger can now block someone who is being abusive from accessing their blog.

The site allows you to generate a code that will ban a user from your blog. Once you have generated the code simply ad it to the template of your blog. You will need to know the IP of the user that you wish to ban. Be sure that you don't ban your own Ip.

Please note that you cannot ban those using AOL, because they are on a proxy ISP. If you ban someone on Aol, you will end up banning a network of users.

Martin, creator of the IP Blocker has now made a better version of IP Blocker so people can block an unlimited number of IP`s. Users also have the ability to redirect every inserted IP to a different url. The members only have to place the code into their website, they never have to changed it again, because every change or add is done through a personal admin panel.
