This is the code I posted for the one music file that works:
<embed src="http://www.archive.org/download/AMVBG1414/AMVBG1414_64kb.m3u" autostart="false" loop="false" width="280" height="45"></embed>
After posting, this is what the file says:
<embed src="http://www.archive.org/download/AMVBG1414/AMVBG1414_64kb.m3u" width="280" height="45" type="audio/x-mpegurl" autostart="false" loop="false"></embed>
This is one I posted that worked when I first posted it but doesn't now:
<embed src="http://www.archive.org/download/LA1AMV/LA1AMV_64kb.m3u" autostart="false" loop="false" width="280" height="45"></embed>
After posting, this is what the file says:
<embed src="http://www.archive.org/download/LA1AMV/LA1AMV_64kb.m3u" width="280" height="45" type="audio/x-mpegurl" autostart="false" loop="false"></embed>
I find that when I try to access archive.org half the time AOL says it can't find the site. Sometimes when I'm on the site and do a search, instead of what I'm looking for I get a notice saying that the site can't be found. I don't know why archive has suddenly started acting like this, but there's no point in trying to post there if I can't even get started. |

Um . . . proper newbie question here! How do you get a song to have a URL? Presumably that means it has to be hosted somewhere right? Where can songs be hosted for free? And are there any copywright issues associated with this stuff? _________________ One man´s meandering e-business investigation;

Ah sorry Rose, I wasn't reading hard enough! So like I say, can I just take any song that I've ripped off a CD, upload it to be hosted on one of those free media hosting sites and then put it on my blog without asking anyone? I guess thats similar to what people do on myspace isn't it. _________________ One man´s meandering e-business investigation;
