Since we're winding down 2007, I've been thinking about what I'd like to accomplish with blogging next year. I'm shooting for 20,000 page views, 100 subscribers and some modest attempts at monetization ( I just displayed a ScratchBack text link ad widget). I'm also going to learn more about CSS and SEO.
What are your blogging goals for '08? Also, how many blogs do you already have?

Hey, well I now have 1 main blog, 2 that are nearly ready for launch and I'm creatively in charge of another. In 2008 I'm going to start controlling another blog and work on my own 3 to build them all in turn, trying our slightly different things in each one. Its too early for me to make predictions on traffic and things but I also intend to start 2 new blogs in about february time, one on writing and one a charitable blog. Having just started blogging though I'm kind of excited about it all and might start all this earlier, who knows!

Hi,
I have one blog and I think that is all I can handle. My goal is to be so famous that Oprah calls me to be on her show. (A girl can dream, right?) Ok, my realistic goal is to post every day and hopefully entertain people in the process. I am going to start working on a book next week and start looking for a publisher. But, if Oprah happens to call...I wouldn't say no!  hehe

Setting realistic goals is absolutely important. Remember, if you burn yourself out it will only go downhill. It's probably best to build them slowly in the long hall.
For me, I hope to increase my blog's authority for '08.

i got 2 personal blogs and both of them generates good traffic and visitors are keep on coming.
what i can do for this year is to continue giving them updates plus re-layouting the blog for a new look this 2008!  |

Hi everyone,
Well, I'm excited to say I've made good progress on my RSS subscribers and beginning monetization. I currently have on average 108 subscribers and all my link ads are full on the Scratchback widget. I set mine at $5 each. Not bad for early in the year! I ended December with 77 subscribers and two of five link ads full.
