Swtrose helped me with this recently, but I'm still stymied.
Basically, I want to find a host for audio, that I can then embed into the blog, where it will be played upon a click.
The host should have these capabilities, but especially, audio files I upload to the host I want to be completely private (not public).
The content is not illicit, and it is simply old audio from friends and families digitalized from up to 30 year old cassette tapes that goes way back. It should only be heard by members of my blogs, and not accessible publicly.
If there is a free host you can suggest who meets these requirements, terrific. If there is a host who I have to pay a few dollars a month to, I'm fine with that also.
The sites that I have looked at -- Archive.org, peapod (which was very slow), if I am understanding them, either do not make embeds possible, or, they do not allow the uploads to be kept private. AudioBlogger was great with its phone method, but I did not find the typical host and make available for embed service I want.
What to do?
