Well atleast in my opinion a great to to find stuff to blog about is...
Your Head/ Heart/ any other body part that can give you inspiration.
Jeez you use your hands to blog too dont you...and maybe your legs walking to the computer...then your eyes...
A major idea generator = YOU!

Hi everyone:WebCrawler is still around??  
I thought that thing died off (Or was swallowed!) when Yahoo! took off way back during the heat of the DOT BOMB days.

LifesBlogger has a good point, about your head/heart etc. being a resource for ideas! But to that I'd like to add, that once I get an idea and do any reading at all about it, seems like ideas start jumping out all over the place...
One thing leads to another!
