I'd like to say that I watch a lot on youtube, and I'm invovled in the community around web video and internet mini series.

So if you have any questions about vloging just ask, and I'll gladly reply.. or I'll find the answer for you if I'm smart enough icon_confused.gif

I'd also like to admit I'm an obsessed fan of lonelygirl15 and similar series. I know a lot about those sort of stuff if you want to know anything.

This really depends.

If you host the video yourself (advance bloggers using CMS such as Joomla) in your own server it may have an impact on the amount of bandwith as well as the quality of your host.

However, if you are riding your blog free & embed videos from Youtube . Unless video sites like Youtube slows down you are usually in good shape. I have a video blog that I update, not frequent but it should give you a general idea of how it can look like. If you are interested, you can see it here http://swapw.blogspot.com

I love posting videos in my blog.,

I recommend using embedded videos that use a flash player that is not too flashy., I don't like windows media player or quicktime player embedded videos because they are not that user friendly with the flash player.,

check my site and please comment http://thetopjokes.wordpress.com/

You can use Quicktime simply by encoding into either MOV or MP4 & then doing a screen capture of the Quicktime Player just by taking the player with the video and moving the slider to a good spot for a still capture.

From there, just simply upload the screen capture to Flickr and the video to BlipTV and then just use a little basic HTML to wrap the link to the video you just uploaded to BlipTV around the screen capture you just uploaded to Flickr.

If your viewers are saying that the video buffers too much, tell them to DOWNLOAD the video (In fact, they should be doing this anyway with Quicktime videos).

If you wanna see a demo of what I'm talking about, go to my personal blog and scroll down to the second post.

One more thing - DO NOT use BlipTV's thumbnail feature. All that will do is affix your thumbnail into the Flash version and look like ROYAL CRAPOLA since the thumbnail WILL ALSO HAVE THE QUICKTIME PLAYER SKIN. Just let the Flash version capture it's own still image (BTW, BlipTV's Flash player is WAY better looking than YouTube's player. It also has better quality video).

Just my opinion....
