Hey Ya'll.
Yeah, I've had a hard time with this, but I also got some books about branding and read some case studies.
I see blogging as haveing 3 categories.
1. People that do it for fun, based on their knowledge and what they like. aka jimsblog.com etc...
2. Peopel that do it for money, and buy generic names like ..... nascarchat.com or something for the hits.
3. People that really want to create a brand and stay more or less on topic to build a reader base.
Anywho, I've come up with a brand and I've narrowed my topics down to more geeky stuff. As for sports, I honestly don't watch, nor care about sports all that much, but sometimes I get on a kick.
I wanted to start a brand that people can remember, and were people would want to come back for more. Not just some random post about sports one minute, and then about the latest hacker security threat the next....wasn't going to work for me.
http://www.unihacker.com is what I have come up with, and so far I've received many emails and comments about the brand. So far it seems to be a hit. It has a little of everything, but mainly posts in relation to security.
I think the whole topic about wether posts should be combine is a matter of opinion, and it really does depend on what someones objectives are. _________________ I run Linux, I love Linux, Linux pwns all others.

And thanks!
I forwarded all my test cases to the new one, but I feel really really good about this. Like my mother has always said, do what you know and like most, not what you necessarily want to do. _________________ I run Linux, I love Linux, Linux pwns all others.
