Hi Rose, good question. blog success is arbitrary, I do it because it is a way for me to write down what I think will help make the company I blog about better. It's my opportunity to armchair quarterback.
As far as time commitment, It takes me about an hour to three hours a night to come up with the content (save video fridays and recipe sundays) that gets posted each day. While it may seem like I am riffing and rambling on, I do a fair amount of fact checking to qualify what I say.
My end game is fluid, whatever happens with my blog happens as I do it just for fun. When I get serious I may take it to a regular domain but my real competition in the field is using a typepad hosted account and they have been successful so I am not that concerned about impressions.

My blogsite is nowhere near successful, judging by some of the sites I've visited in the blogosphere! My "fairly uncommon" subject matter, as one admin, described it, doesn't attract too many readers. But b/c I've learned so much, even technically, (compared to knowing nothing ), and because I invest my time and integrity in it most carefully, I feel that I am slowly building towards success. _________________ Christina
