Alot of good points have been made here...as was mentioned earlier, your reason for blogging probably determines how many blogs are good for you to have. As well as your other responsibilities, etc.
Like SomewhereElse, I am thinking about Blog #2, as my current blog is serious and I want to keep it that way. So second blog would be a 180 degree turnabout...but I find that just one blog takes enough time, so I'm afraid that tackling another would cause my original blog content to suffer.
So I guess Blog #2 is still a twinkle in my eye!

If each of your blogs is about a specific area of interest, guess as many blogs as you have areas of interest, and the time to keep them current. Also, if you are a schizo and have multiple personalities I guess it would be coool for you to allow each of em their own outlet so to speak (or in this case blog). I myself run just this one blog, but am unrestricted as to what the postings are about---everything from A to Zoo---anything that pops into this old dudes head to flap his jaws about---most of its trivial, but you never know what might come up next----some say I'm amusing.
