Hi all, I am using Internet Explorer. Is there any other web browser available which allows opening multiple sites? I think Mozilla is one, but other than Mozilla is there any browser available? Any help will be highly appreciated. Thanks!

Hello willsonjone, welcome to Blogger Talk Blogger Forum.

Besides Firefox, which I use you can check out these multi tabbed browsers.

Acoo Browser is a powerful multi-tabbed Internet browser.

Maxthon is a multi-tabbed browser based on the IE core.

Avant Browser is a tabbed web browser.

Crazy Browser has the ability to open multiple sites and windows inside a single browser.

Smart Bro is a tabbed browser, similar to Internet Explorer,

Hi,
What is the problem in using Mozilla? It is the best browser. I also use Mozilla and recommend you the same. As you have said it allows opening multiple tabs in same window. Also you can install some add-ons which make browsing easy and safe. Like HHOT View, it is a browser add-on that lets you quickly view web content without clicking or leaving your current page. It allows quick, safe and click less browsing. You can download this free tool from here.

Hope this will help you out.

Hi Rose,

I use Firefox also but don't forget the good old "Opera" browser (current version 9.5) icon_biggrin.gif

Andy,

Touching on the old Mozilla suite. "Mozilla" (the open source version of Netscape) was dead in the water back in 2005 when the Mozilla foundation stopped all development and maintenance on the suite in favor of developing Firefox and Thunderbird. Further development on the suite was turned over to the "SeaMonkey" council and was re-dubbed...well..."SeaMonkey". Version 1.0 came out in January, 2006.

It's basically the same suite that's being slowly rebuilt and improved upon, which it really needed. You can get it at the SeaMonkey website (link below) as well as Mozilla.org:

SeaMonkey Project

The latest version is 1.1.10 and if you're actually still using an old version of Mozilla you might want to update to SeaMonkey. It's much more secure.

Too much info? icon_razz.gif
