I've never noticed this problem untill recently. I made a new header for my blog and when I uploaded the picture from my computer to Blogger I noticed the colour was much duller than the original and the image quality wasn't as sharp. I thought it might be something to do with it getting compressed while uploading so instead I uploaded it to Photobucket rather than Blogger and linked to it from there but the image didn't appear in the header. I instead tried linking to it from a few other places and that wasn't doing anything either. Can anyone offer any advice?

Also, for comparison, here is what the image originally looks like:

And here is my blog:

Any help is appreciated.

Wish I could help but no ideas. I have noticed at times that some of my photo's (and even my header) don't seem to have quite as much pop to them on the blog, but the difference is really minimal and may be due to the difference of the surrounding colors of the backgrounds. In yours it does appear to me that portions are not as bright and precise, especially the green.

I'm viewing it in Firefox and it looks the same. What if you saved it in png format?

Hello Mafro,

Humm it looks fine to me I am using IE 7 / 8 and I viewed it in firefox as well.

Does all graphics look pixeled on your computer or just the graphics on your blog?

@ Rose: I tried that but Blogger only lets you upload images if they are JPEGs.

Its just the image in my blog header that looks like that. It looks fine everythere else but on the header the colour looks washed out. And it looks like that in both IE and Firefox.
