just to let you know, i'm new to the forum. though i've blogged before, mostly with lj, i'm new to blogger. i have a very important first blog posting, as well as the subsequent posting (about the first four). they all need to be on top and not get lost at the bottom. i understand that people expect the newest post to be on top. however, my first post has instructions for the rest of the blog - which i am using to communicate with a certain community. therefore, i NEED my oldest post to remain on the top of the page and my newest posts to be added to the bottom. i saw your replay to dreamcaster's thread " post date reversal," but what you recommended only changes the archive listing, not the posted listing.
so my question remains:
how do i change my POST listing. |

If you have more than one post that you insist on keeping at the top, then visitors will continuously assume you never update your blog and won't return. My suggestion is that you use one of the gadgets, preferably the one that allows you to insert HTML and bookmark those posts on the side bar rather than forcing them to stay at the top of the list. _________________ Complex Femme

Nicole, FYI - I reversed my posts, but a fellow blogger contacted me to let me know that it could appear confusing to most bloggers...although your situation sounds unique, that may not apply, but for future reference maybe... _________________ Christina
