Considering the children in America that have never seen a computer and the lack of education that they are getting. Why does the government let these low life even have access to a computer.
The only space they need is what is reserved for them, six feet under! |

I'm not sure what you are talking about with children in America never seeing a computer?
Most households today have a computer and the majority of them have more than one.
(According to: A Nation Online: How Americans Are Expanding Their Use of the Internet, 2002)
" The rate of growth of Internet use in the United States is currently two million new Internet users per month."
"Ninety percent of children between the ages of 5 and 17 (or 48 million) now use computers. "
"87% of U.S. teens ages 12 to 17 currently use the Internet, representing about 21 million youth. Of those, approximately 11 million teens go online on a daily basis. (Pew Internet and American Life, Teens and Technology, July 27, 2005.) "
Quoting from an article by Suzanne Stanford
"Today, May 8, 2006, MySpace.com boasts an online population of 83 million, 861 thousand, 1 hundred and 22. Since May 10th, 2006, it has increased 6 million, 756 thousand, and 59. that’s approximately 241 thousand, 2 hundred and 87 new subscribers per day."
A vast majority of those sign ups are teens. Social networking sites have become a hot spot for today's youth.

| That doesn't neccessarily mean that the pages were created by the killers. Killers are glorified by some people. Eric Harris has a MySpace page. |

I hate to admit it, but I have Elvis as a friend on my MySpace. hehe Only because I can talk with other fans. But, I can't believe prisoners even have computers, especially death row inmates. Yikes! They should be making the computers, not playing on them. With MySpace, I am very cautious about most people and only accept them as a friend if I know them or have spoken with them. My page is private so no one but my friends see my kids. That is irritating that prisoners get computers...grrrr.

| I find it alarming that they are on death row and have access to a computer. You don't get death row for petty theft...but, if I can have Elvis and Frosty the Snowman on MySpace as friends, pretty much anyone can make a profile be anyone they want. I am very cautious with that site, and use it to catch up with my friends. Cindy |
