First Wives World, an online community for women in all stages of divorce, is currently seeking women who are considering a divorce and women who are currently in the process of getting a divorce to blog about their personal divorce stories. Black, Latina, and Asian women are strongly encouraged to apply.
Compensation is $500 per month. Bloggers must submit between three and five 250-word entries each week. Entries are submitted via email. Our full-time blog staff reviews, edits, and formats all entries. Bloggers should also be prepared to comment on other entries, and to respond to comments on their own posts.
Bloggers may blog under their real names, or may utilize a pseudonym. All entries must be true personal stories, and must be clearly related to the blogger’s own experiences with divorce. Applicants are should review the site and observe the style of our House Bloggers.
Women of any age are encouraged to apply – previous blogging or writing experience is not required. Bloggers should be fluent in English, and must be able to write in a coherent and concise manner. We are looking for the ability to relate a clear, compelling story, not previous experience or flawless copy.
How to Apply
If you are a woman are currently in the middle of a divorce or are considering starting divorce proceedings, and have an interesting story to tell, please submit the following to fwwjob@gmail.com:
Two sample posts of no more than 250 words each.
One sample should be an introduction/bio, including how long have you been married, if you have any children and if so, their age(s), and what led you to consider divorce. Be sure to identify whether you are currently considering divorce but haven’t filed, or are currently in divorce proceedings.
The second should be a personal story related to divorce, written in a clear, concise, and compelling manner. Please review the site for guidance on our style.
If you have a website, or previous experience in writing/blogging, please include links, though previous experience is not necessary.

Our site is a site for divorced women, so women only please. We’re sorry, but we don’t have a men’s forum at this time.
