Hi!
I am new to blogging, but absolutely love it! I am a single mom and I love to write. My blogs are about random topics, everything from a breast cancer walk to the homeless to funny things kids say and do.

Hi!
I love your page! Let's see, I lost my job as a legal secretary about a month ago and have been home trying to find a job. One of my very best friends died last week and I needed to write some things down as it was too much for me to keep inside. I had heard of blogs, but had never seen one. I was up late on Friday night, just couldn't sleep, so I looked up what a blog was and knew I had to get in on this and had to make my own. I was very computer-challenged before Friday, but stayed up most of the night trying to learn.  Now I am addicted. Now that things are up and running, I have to get back to finding a job. I have two kids who are depending on me. Writing is a nice break from reality sometimes.

Thanks. It gets harder as I have lost about 40+ people in my life and I am only 36. Susan was one of my best friends, but I guess because of her, I am here. So, if there is one good thing, it could be this.

That's a great story. I agree that writing can be a really great way to process feelings when something big or bad (as in your case with the death of a friend) has happened.
I would think there must be income opportunities along these lines to turn your hard work into cash...
