I hear this question asked a great deal on forums and blog groups.

GIMP is a popular open-source image editor that you can download from our download section.

Microsoft Paint is a tool that you probably already have on your computer. If you're using Windows Xp Click the Windows Start button. Then click on all programs and then Click the Accessories menu. Click the Paint menu item.

Windows will launch Paint with a blank canvas. Click on file and select your photo from your computer.

On the MS Paint Menu, click on "Image" and then "Stretch/Skew." The Stretch/Skew dialogue box will open, and there you can type in the reduction percentage.

You'll need to play around with the percentages to get it to the size that you want. Once you have the correct size click on File save as and save it to your computer.
