Ahh, ive got a ton of people telling me that i have good writing andmy blog is good etc. Yet im still getting only about 15-30 hits a day. Is this just because my blog has only been around for about 4 weeks or is there some other reason?
Like i have mybloglog and technorati but to me they are worthless and i have no idea how to use them.
Im using article directories too but still not on google or anything yet:(.
Can anyone help me out and let me know what to do and maybe help me get some traffic:D?

I found registering with Digg and Shoutwire and then submitting a post or two from your blog boosted traffic a bit.... the digg/shoutwire links to your post seem to get up the google rankings really fast and probably increase the chance of your blog getting noticed.
Rose's advice is great - I get a fair few visitors who find me through both this site and BloggingFusion
With Google I think it's mainly a matter of waiting, and getting your URL out there on forums, comments on other blogs etc. It will happen!
Another piece of advice I'd recommend would be - add a signature to your profile here with your blog URL in it. I know your blog link is in the forum "www" button, but it feels nice to see it in writing as well  |

But other then just waiting for google to get my site. What are some other ways to get my blog noticed?
I comment and stuff but still dont get THAT many hits.

You're lucky getting 20-30 hits a day. I get an average of 5.

The longer your blog stays online......and the more frequent you blog......and also the type of interesting content that appeals to other people..
All these will help contribute to higher readship and more hits.... |
