I'm hoping someone can give me a hand with this. I love Blogger, and I want to use it as my home webpage, as it does everything I want it to do. There are only two little things I need to change for it to be the perfect fit.
First, labels. For the layout that I want on this particular blog, I need the labels to disappear. I'm still going to use them, but I'll be linking buttons to them in the sidebar (e.g. when I label something "gallery" I'll link a button to http://.../search/label/gallery) I just don't want them to be visible when someone's viewing a post. Now, I've gone to Layout - Page Elements and in my Blog Posts told it not to display labels, but it's still showing them. Is there some code I can stick in my template that will make it all go away?
The other thing I'd like to remove is the blogger Nav Bar. I don't see any way to do it from the Edit Layout, but I imagine there's a way to do it, and I'd love any help I can get.

Thanks so much Rose, I found a bit of code to hide it earlier.
I'm still having trouble with the labels though, that's something I really need to get rid of. |

hey...so i did the mouseover peekabo nav bar...but is there a widget I can get to put on the page that can be a search engine for the blog? so they can still search the blog if need be through some form provided in one of the columns perhaps?
