Hi, I'm new but not really a total NOOB about how to blog... After some experimenting (with mixed results) I find Blogger really is about the most user friendly blog service anywhere. And when your computer is as old and as slow as mine (it's dialup, and windows98, about the worst possible computer situation imaginable, but I'm poor!!! ) you got to go for the easiest route.
Anyway... I have 2 friends who I mainly designed the blog to help out, our email systems just don't play nice and I'm trying to make communications easier and simpler. Plus it will give us a chance to have 'conferences' if need be. So far, it is a kind of private blog, not listed anywhere (but in time, that could change). Now the big trouble is this-- Since I started the blog, ALL the posts list MY name, no matter who is posting. This is already getting just a TAD confusing. In order to give my friends new status as individual Authors of the blog, I tried sending Open Invitations to both addresses, but apparently they never received them. What could I be doing wrong?? I followed directions carefully...
Plz help |

Whew!! I'm also having a little trouble with the Cookies Corruption thing. Didn't think I would get back in here at all w/o registering again... Oh well, new forum, I'll learn...
Well, I can say this--one of my pals uses a special "college" email system which seems to be really paranoid about spam, it's just possible their system simply ate my invitation to her. My other buddy uses plain old Yahoo, however... I will have to "get on" both of them about checking their Junk folder
Will let you know what happens, thnx |

Oh yes, colleges are UBER paranoid about spam. Don't want any spam holding the door open for viruses to infiltrate their servers. See if that friend can open an account on Gmail or Yahoo or Hotmail if they haven't already. _________________ Complex Femme
