| as long as I am giving a good review of a site I like in my blog is it necessary to get their agreement prior? Can I link to / show pictures from other sites without their agreement? thanks |

hi auntv,
If you plan to link that particular site as a reference, say, within your post, you mentioned about 1 site that wrote about similar topics as yours, just the title or author name, I think that's ok since it's giving a credit to that site. Same, if you wish to put that site in your blog roll for liking it, that's fine either.
However, if you wish to include content/pictures from one site, it's always better to ask permission first. It's better to get things clear up first before somebody misunderstood you for scrapping their contents/pics.  |

| You don't need permission to include a link to another site, however you do need to obtain permission to use someone's pictures on your blog. |

| Photos, yes secure a permission from the owners as well as putting the source url on your post. |

| thanks - how about a shopping site? if I say i like a pair of shoes can I show the picture ? - i mean it is advertizing for them - I assume also that there is a difference between saving the pic to my pc and uploading it vs. linking to show the pic on their site?? which is better? |

I think you put the credits/source under the photo. |
