I sing classical music. I thought this would be a good venue to let you know about Mixpo. I use it to upload and display music files for people to play.

Have a look. And enjoy the music.

Hmm. I think I'll go back to the one that's on my site now. The Yahoo version leaves much to be desired.

If you go to my site (hit the WWW), you will see a box on the sitebar titled "Wayfaring Stranger" If you scroll through that you'll see the music Icon. click it. It will load and you'll my recording of Wayfaring Stranger.

By the way, I like the look of your site, but your player went into eternal "connection" mode so I never got to hear any of the songs. Sorry.

Gigglesnort - Maybe I just didn't see it, but I wasn't able to find your music.

Could you provide a link?

Thanks

OK. Go to http://ragbox.blogspot.com As you scroll down the side bar, you will see a widget called Wayfarin Stranger. It has it's own scrollbar. Scroll that bar and you will find my song icon. Click on it, allow it to buffer and voila!

Thank you for your kind remarks. I am currently working on a double CD, one half classical, the other Broadway and songs like that one.

Has anyone seen www.speakupstudios.com?

Its a new podcasting website that lets you record a podcast with any phone. You can have guests ring in from all around the world. Pretty neat. Anyway, I've thought about using it to promo some of my music - build a profile page there and link to it from my myspace.

Thoughts?

The following information I received while attempting to set up a podcast from this site is the reason I do not participate in them. If, when simply putting in the required information one gets answers of the sort that follow, that site can bet that I won't be back;

Server Error in '/' Application.

Incidentally, I've tried for two years now to create a podcast, and have been unsuccessful to date. I'd like to place a prerecorded WAV file show on the net. But given the file sizes I deal with, it appears I'm dreaming . Maybe someone here knows how it's done and would be kind enough to share the details.

Well,

I know that you would need either a website that you control either a private site or a myspace or something of the sort.

Wav files tend to be pretty large, which is why most podcasters use MP3's as their file type of choice.

I'm going to check these guys out (Speak Up) and see what the deal is. I too am pretty interested in getting a podcast off the ground - even if it didn't go nuts it would be fun.

I'll let you know what I find.
