I was able to obtain site statistics for my blog through Google's Site Submission page. I noted that according to Google, keywords and links are still valuable in determining a site's worth in terms of rankings.
On the matter of keywords, I determined that if you have selected a number of them, but they don't appear very often in your specific posts, you may not be getting the best bang for your buck. I have decided to preface each of my blog articles from now on using one of my applicable keywords....like, Government: (Name of Article) That way, some form of the keyword(s) will always be included on the main page.
The reason I bring this up is because I have found several of my articles (not my blog) on some Google searches which means that Google is seeking a connection between my specific article and a search term like Government or Satire.
Just a thought. I could be wrong. If so, I'm good for some input here. _________________ Visit http://georgejazz.blogspot.com

Well, I think no one out there actually knew how Google bots work except Google staffs.
What we can do is just testing each method and when it is successful, we say we've found a secret about Google and that became a trend. Just like the link exchange trend... _________________ My blog: http://yp90.blogspot.com |
