The title kind of says it all really...
I was wondering which operating system people here, on BloggerTalk, use. There are so many arguments for and against different operating systems which often lead to heated debates, well, in my household anyway (mainly between my brother and I).
I am using Ubuntu 7.04 dual booted with XP Home (which very rarely gets turned on). _________________ Aidan L - http://www.aidanloughran.co.uk/wordpress/ |

| I'm using Windows XP. I'm seriously thinking about switching to a Mac next time I buy a computer. |

It is interesting to see the spread of people, mainly who use Mac and Windows.
One reason why I really like Linux is how everything is open-source. People say that some of the free alternatives to some Windows programs aren't as good, but to be honest I don't notice and difference. _________________ Aidan L - http://www.aidanloughran.co.uk/wordpress/ |

I use Windows XP, but mostly with open source software i.e Firefox, the Gimp etc.
I'm getting really interested in Ubuntu, but I don't know if it would be user-friendly enough. |

Just out of curiosity, does anyone know what kinds of accessibility features the Mac has? Does it have a screen reader or screen magnifier? Windows has one, but it's not very good. _________________ http://lifewithaguidedog.info |

To be honest Zhuli when I first started using Ubuntu I didn't really have any problems getting used to doing basic things. There were one or two little tasks which I couldn't figure out how to do, however, the Ubuntu Forums are a really helpful place.
I would definitely say that it is user friendly, I suppose their 'slogan' if you wish to call it, says it all, "Linux for Human Beings". _________________ Aidan L - http://www.aidanloughran.co.uk/wordpress/ |
