If you do a search on Google UK, and make it just for UK pages, many of the major U.S. or Canada sites will not show up, however if you change it to “the web” they will. I’ve played around with various websites and blog searches in Google UK, and while the websites pop up under the normal web results, they don’t under the UK.
Don’t worry, Google UK has not removed your search results. It has been discussed on many webmaster formers that Google UK has an unique method of indexing pages. This is just a little bit of useful information for those that may be using Google Uk to search the web. Interesting isn’t it? _________________ Help Support Blogger Talk Blogging Community|

Is this a way to promote home brew sites over US ones or something? Truth be told I 've lived in the UK long enough to know they would try something like that since they just have to differ in pretty much everything just for the sake of it....lol! _________________ Have a look at : http://deadpoolstrikesback.blogspot.com/

I don't think that is the reason. I think it is more to do with relevancy than anything else. A lot of the USA site are USA specific, which would have very little meaning to people outside. I also used to live in the UK, actually grew up there, but am now in LA, and I think that is the case.
It is not just google UK, but all the other google country specific sites work differently, Ireland, India, Canada etc . It is a matter of relevancy. The people in the countries have different interests and google is just trying to cater to that.
E.g. If i'm living in the London and I put in a search for a hardware store, I don't wanna get a hardware store in Arizona. _________________ The K Experience
