RSS Scraping is a copyright issue most bloggers have to worry about and publishing your RSS feed on full makes it much easier for the scraper whose sole purpose is to generate income by republishing content that they stole from your from RSS feeds.

My blog content is constantly being scraped. Unfortunately, I have not found an easy way to keep my RSS feed from being scraped.

Therefore my advice is to set your RSS feed to short.

Why allow them to profit from your content?


If you are using Wordpress I recommend that you install the Feed Copywriter plugin and add a copyright message to the bottom of your feed.

If you choose to publish on full, including the entire post in your feed, then please make sure that you include a copyright statement and a link to your blog in the feed.
