Hi all! I am new to the world of blogging. Recently joined this site. I am kid blogger (13 year old) from India interested in writing on anything I feel like. I find that there are many few bloggers of my age (or I couldn't locate them!). What do you think the apt age for children to start a blog? Please give your opinion.

Depending on the topic, I don't know that there is an age limit. I could see my daughter doing a blog for the family. Of course she is 3 right now, so I have to work on that whole ability to write deal.
It seems like Rose had another person asking for advice a while back in this forum who was twelve. I would say if you are under 18, and have your parents blessing (and arn't breaking the law), then enjoy the world of blogging. Maybe it will even lead to a career one day.

13 sounds about right to me. As long as someone can write and their parents are okay with it, than I don't see a problem. There are free services like Blogger that are very easy to use, so it's not like you have to spend money or learn HTML. You can just sign up and start blogging.

I think 13 is alright as long as they are careful what they write about and don't give too much away about themselves. You never know who is reading and who might leave comments.

as long as you have a good topic and has parental consent, you can start blogging ...  age doesn't matter but we must be careful on the topic to be written on your blog. |

Seems most Asians who blog are under 17. That's just my opinion from what I've encountered while blog hopping.
