Patrick Starr

Born Patrick Simondac, he’s got 4.5 million IG followers and 3.8 million YouTube subscribers. He has collaborated with another YouTube personality, Nikki Tutorials, along with Kris Jenner and Kim Kardashian. Born to Filipino parents in the US, he is the first Filipino to have a MAC collection. And he has 2 MAC collections so far. His first foray in beauty was when he worked for Sephora. He has done the make-up of famous Hollywood celebrities like Katy Perry, Ashley Tishdale, and Kim Kardashian. Not too shabby! He is good friends with other beauty bloggers like Manny MUA, Nikki Tutorials, Jeffree Starr, and Laura Lee.

Manny Gutierrez

More popularly known as Manny MUA, he has 4.7 million followers on IG and 5 million on YouTube. He started his career in the make-up industry when he took on jobs at Sephora and MAC. He then started his YouTube channel in 2014. In 2017, he became Maybelline’s first male brand ambassador. He later collaborated with Jeffree Star on a make-up line, Jeffree Starr Cosmetics x Manny MUA collection. Though Black Moon Cosmetics sued them for copyright infringement, it all ended well. After their successful collaboration, he created his own line, Lunar Beauty. Aside from his being a social media influencer, he got named as one of People Magazine’s Most Beautiful list, the only male at that. He initially wanted to become a doctor so he went to med school. But he later realized that his true calling was in beauty and make-up. and the rest was history.

James Charles

James Charles has over 7 million YouTube subscribers, 7.5 million IG followers, and 1.2 million followers on Twitter. His YouTube videos have gotten over 5 million hits. He started his YouTube video in 2015 and quickly became a beauty influencer. In 2016, he became the first ever male brand ambassador of CoverGirl. He just got his high school diploma in 2017. He is known for doing his make-up for all his shoots. And before he got into make-up, he worked as a hairstylist. He got the world to notice him when his senior high school picture was shared online. Though there was a bit of a controversy regarding that picture, it still catapulted him to fame.

 

Jeffree Starr

Most likely the trailblazer of them all, Jeffree Starr started his social media career in 2006 via MySpace and started his YouTube channel doing make-up tutorials. He began his own make-up line in 2014, Jeffree Starr Cosmetics. He has around 9 million YouTube subscribers and his videos has got over 1 billion views. He has 7.7 million IG followers and over 2.3 million followers on Twitter. Born Jeffrey Lynn Steininger Jr., he started his make-up career doing make-up for celebrities he met at clubs.
